Central Coast Restaurant, The Dance Club at Central Coast,
and The Banquet Room at Central Coast

Central Coast was the creation of an entrepreneur’s dream to have an upscale restaurant and dance club that would be a sought after destination close to home in the city of Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin. The name was inspired by the client’s affinity for the West Coast – the restaurant features wines of the California Central Coast region and cuisines using ingredients supplied by local farmers, prepared in the French style with a coastal flair. The Dance Club provides diners with opportunities to socialize, exercise, be entertained, and develop new skills after dining.

The requirements of the project were to create the “wow” factor and to experience something expressively special relative to anything surrounding this locale. This was achieved by creating an environment that is warm, inviting, and intimate using clean modern lines mixed with textural and sparkling finishes, including quartzite floor tile, iridescent glass tile, art glass partitions, dazzling glass beaded wall coverings, crystal down lights, and glass pendant light fixtures that visually enhance the ambiance and overall charisma of the interior space. The design incorporates visual nods such as water, bubbles, and waves through out.

The bar was meticulously thought through and positioned to unite the two areas and serve as a transition between the fine dining experience and the dance club.

The Dance Club space consists of a tiered ceiling with comfortable seating for up to 120 guests surrounding an octagonal wood dance floor, intimate dining rooms that double as meetings rooms, 2 private dance studios, a stage, storage, and state of the art sound and lighting.

The Banquet Room at Central Coast was an addition that came about as the need arose for the client to host larger events and meetings. The addition is a direct extension of the Dance Club which provides seating for an additional 192 guests. A moveable partition between the Dance Club and the Banquet Room allows the spaces to be used concurrently by different parties as well as opening up to connect the spaces for large receptions. The space is flexible and can easily meet the needs for a variety of clients.

The finishes continue with the comfort and atmosphere of the Dance Club. They include warm hues, a complimentary carpet, and a cove ceiling with pendant light fixtures.
